About Matt

Matt Rundell is passionate about exercise.  He has gained experience working in corporate gyms since 1998 and began teaching exercise classes for seniors in 2004.  Rundell Fitness, LLC was launched in 2007.  Matt stays current on the latest exercise trends and nutritional research.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing any sport, especially basketball, reading, trivia, playing board games and keeping active with his wife and four children.

            PERSONAL TRAINING

 

Each client has his/her own needs and goals for a personal training regime whether it is to build strength, lose weight, improve posture, or recover from injury.  Matt works with his clients to set goals and then creates a personalized plan to accomplish them.      

            GROUP TRAINING

 

Much like the individual sessions, Matt has the ability to work in small group private sessions, keeping everyone focused and moving while still able to satisfy individual exercise needs.

            FITNESS CLASSES

 

Aside from private sessions, Matt teaches fitness classes with Suburban Hospital's Senior Shape Exercise program.  Classes focus on muscular strength and endurance, posture, balance, and flexibility.  Classes are designed to aid in injury prevention and recovery.
